A brief writeup we submitted on our terrific experience screening Black at the Action On Film festival has just seen print in the latest issue of Moviemaker Magazine. In the review I offer a few thoughts on the setting, content and overall mission of the event and how its unique vision works to counterbalance the Hollywood system. I was very inspired by what Del Weston and his team are doing over in Pasadena every year and was glad to have the opportunity to spread the word on such an exciting voice in the LA filmmaking community. Issue #89 is on newstands right now and should be available in most major bookstores this week (for reference, our one page article is on page 106).
